IRC help and commands

Some IRC commands.

Change your nick: /nick (nick of your choice)
Register your nick: /msg nickserv register (password of your choice) (Remember the password has to be different from your nick.)
Identify your nick: /msg nickserv identify (password you chose) 
(This will show that you are the owner of that nick.)
Ghost a nick: /msg nickserv ghost (nick) (password)
(This will free your nick if you get disconnected and your nick is still in use.)
Set a nick kill: /msg nickserv set kill (There are two options, quick, or on. Quick is a 20 second timer. On allows one minute. It will kill your connection if you don't identify your nick.)
Message someone: /msg (nick) (message)
(this will open a private chat window between you and that person)

lol is Laugh Out Loud
rofl is Rolling on Floor Laughing
focl is Falling Off Chair Laughing
nm is Never Mind
jw is Just Wondering
brb is Be Right Back
bbl is Be Back Later
wb is Welcome Back
np is No Problem
GB is God Bless
gn is Good Night
afk is Away From Keyboard
ppl is People
caps is Capital letters
pc is Private Chat
jk is Just Kidding
aka is Also Known As
